399 new coronavirus cases in Delhi; positivity rate drops to 0.51 pc



 Delhi on Sunday reported 399 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,30,200. The number of new cases reported came out of 77,600 tests conducted on the previous day.

Of which, 45,116 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 32,484 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.51 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.71 per cent.

12 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,678. 12 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 10 on Friday, 19 on Thursday, 16 on Wednesday and 12 on Tuesday. Delhi Hospitals

602 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,16,054 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.75 per cent.

The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Sunday. Active cases declined by 215 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 3,468 active cases.

Out of the total 12,115 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 10,677 are vacant. A total of 1,585 patients are in home isolation.
