Around 15 members of Jalvayu Vihar's laughter yoga club, a group comprising residents of Sector 21 and 25 of the society, on Sunday participated in an event organised by the Raahgiri Foundation in association with World Research Institute India (WRII). It was held in Connaught Place, Delhi.
Dressed in yellow t-shirts and caps, members of the group made everyone happy and cheerful in their unique way. Besides, they concluded their performance by dancing and singing a song describing the real sense of life and happiness.
Talking to City Spidey about the event, ex-Navy officer Narendra Mahajan said, "Participants were very happy. They were laughing like a five-year-old kid looking at the members of the laughter club performing and making everyone feel good and glad."
The event was held to create and spread awareness about the preventive measures to be taken for a major disease like cancer. Nearly 300 people from different walks of life participated in it.
