The residents of Dwarka today organised a cleanliness drive in the sub-city to commemorate 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. While the RWAs cleaned their respective society premises, social organisations carried out cleanliness drives on roads, parks and market areas. Dwarka News
At Munirka Apartments in Sector 9, management of the society in association with the Confederation of Dwarka Sub City cleaned the society premises and the area around it. The members from the management also made people aware about the importance of waste segregation.
Pankaj Sharma, general secretary of Confederation of Dwarka Sub City, and a resident of Munirka Apartments, said, “This is the first time we have carried out a campaign like this on Gandhi Jayanti. We will keep making efforts to keep our society clean and green.”
