The Gurugram Police on Monday started “Cyber Security Summer Internship” to address the rising challenges of cyber crimes. Under the internship programme, young minds will be given guidance about cyber security. gurugram news
The internship programme aims to create cyber safety ambassadors across the nation who will help in creating awareness about cyber safety.
The Gurugram Police said, “We are always in pursuit of excellence for its Cyber Crime Detection Unit and we are also actively promoting cyber Security among the general public.”
They informed that a robust process with complete transparency will be created by updating public interface systems, internal police processes with the help of technology and modern management ways.
The Gurugram Police will be working with engineering and management students to create such kind of process.
The “6th Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship” was inaugurated by Sandeep Khirwar, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, along with Sumit Kumar, DCP Crime. Many other police officials were also present on the occasion.
A total of 100 students coming from different parts of the country participated 3-week long internship programme. Experts from different fields will be delivering speeches during the programme.
The participants are from different states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Tamil Naidu, Andra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, Punjab etc.
Training on cyber safety, cyber laws, AI, IOT, blockchain, forensics will be imparted to participants during the 3 weeks. The participants will also be given a tour of cyber police station in Gurgaon.
