Yoga is getting popular day-by-day because it makes mind and body healthier. It was very much evident at one-day Yoga camp which was organized at the park of Sector-27 in Noida on Sunday. People participated with all zeal and enthusiasm in the Yoga camp.
The free Yoga camp was organised by Patanjali Mahila Yog Samiti and Patanjali Yuva Bharat Sansthan in consultation with the resident welfare associations.
The Yoga session started at 6:30 am and continued till 7:30 am in the morning. During the camp, the residents practiced asanas such as “Kapalbhati” and “Pranayama.”
RWA president Rajeev Garg said, “Hundreds of people participated in the Yoga camp. People from all age groups were present and were enthusiastic about learning new asanas. Children are being especially trained for the special event like International Yoga Day on June 21.”
The members RWAs said that the objective of organising camp is make people aware about the benefits of the Yoga. The members also said that residents have promised that they will continue the asanas which they have learnt in the camp.
A resident Seema Singhal said, “I am in regular habit of doing Yoga. I am inspired by Baba Ramdev. Yoga soothes the mind and eases the body movement. Performing some basic asanas early in the morning ensures a good day ahead.”
