The RWA of Fresco, a condominium in Sector 50, Gurgaon, has filed a complaint against the builder, Unitech, for lack of facilities. The complaint was filed yesterday with the commissioner of police.
In it, the RWA requested the police to help recover more than Rs 11 crore given to Unitech in 2006 as development funds. Gurgaon News
To begin with, Rs 3.75 crore was paid by the RWA for the repair of the condominium's façade, which is yet to be done. The builder has neither done the work, nor agreed to clear the amount.
“Recent incidents have shown how lifts have been frequently malfunctioning, and electricity has also been disconnected due to non-payment of dues. Despite paying the maintenance bills on time, we get none of the facilities from the builder’s side,” complained Deepan Sood, executive member of the RWA. Apartment management software
Speaking to City Spidey, Nilesh Tandon, RWA president, said, “Payments to the housekeeping staff, guards and horticulture workers are not being made on time. The vendors do not get timely payments, often delayed by five months or more. So obviously there has been deterioration in the quality of services being provided to residents.”
