Notice the pillar in the background. See anything different?

Should posters be gummed on public property? Gurugram residents certainly think otherwise.

A local NGO, Uthaan, with help from volunteers and residents, has taken on the difficult task of removing posters from Metro pillars and replacing them with potted plants.

“Our first target: Pillar No 200 at the Huda City Centre Metro station. We’ve started pulling down the posters and putting up clamped potted plants around the pillar. Hopefully, this will stop people from putting up tacky stuff on these pillars,” said Parvinder Singh, employed with a private company.
