Stagnant water at Dwarka metro corridor exposes the work of civic authorities

Dwarka Sector 14 metro corridor got submerged in knee-deep rainwater a couple of days ago as the drainage system has not been maintained for a very long time. The water remained stagnant for over a week, making it difficult for commuters to use the corridor.

Furthermore, the stagnant water has done some serious damage to the surface of the corridor road. While the nation is celebrating G20 hosting and authorities are busy making the capital city look perfect, such callousness is wasting all the efforts.

Ironically the place where the water is lying stagnant is near the roundabout which was recently beautified and has a board displaying the celebratory mood of G20.
