Multani mitti: Works like magic on acne

Multani mitti, known as fuller’s earth is actually mud from Multan. It gently cleanses your skin by removing dead cells, absorbing oil and increasing the blood circulation under the skin. Multani mitti can be used in various skincare remedies such as soothing sunburn, spot treatment, exfoliation and treating pimples.

Here are a few mixtures you can prepare at home using Multani mitti to treat acne.

Moreover, a combination of sandalwood and Multani mitti can help to nourish the skin and control the oiliness of the skin. Chandan or sandalwood is known to be a wonderful ingredient for skin. It helps to remove tan and reduce acne. You need to follow the below-mentioned steps to prepare this paste.

Collect two tablespoons of Multani mitti and two tablespoons of Sandalwood powder in a bowl.
Add one tablespoon of besan to it.
Add one tablespoon of rose water to the mixture.
Mix all to get a paste-like consistency.
Apply the paste on the washed face for 15-20 minutes, rinse with cool water and use it twice for better results.

Aloe vera and Mutltani Mitti

Aloe vera is known best for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It not only helps to fight acne and provide soft skin but it also cleanses every pore deeply. This pack will help you get nourished and soft skin. Follow the below-shared steps to get aloe vera and Multani mitti masks.

Take two teaspoons of aloe vera gel in a bowl and add one teaspoon of Multani mitti to it.

  • Stir to get a paste-like mixture
  • Apply on clean face for 15 minutes
  • Rinse off and apply moisturiser
  • Use twice a week for best results.

Neem and Multani mitti

Neem is not only helpful in controlling oil but it is prominent for its antibacterial properties too. It fights off infections, gets rid of the bacteria and ensures that your skin is super radiant. Prepare the paste with the below-shared steps.

  • Collect two tablespoons of Multani mitti and one tablespoon of neem powder in a cup.
  • Add one tablespoon of rose water to the cup with the mixture.
  • Take half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Now mix it well with other ingredients for a paste-like consistency.
  • Apply on a clean face and leave for 15 minutes
  • Rinse off and apply moisturiser

Turmeric

If you wish to get rid of pimples using turmeric can be best because of its antibacterial properties. It has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties also that will help to remove acne like magic. Follow the below-mentioned methods to prepare the same:

  • Take two tablespoons of Multani mitti and one tablespoon of turmeric powder.
  • Add two tablespoons of honey to it. Mix to get a paste-like consistency.
  • Apply on a clean face and leave for 15 minutes
  • Rinse off and apply moisturiser
  • Apply twice a week for best results.
