Irregular garbage collection in Greater Noida bothers residents

ACEOs Amandeep Duli and Anand Vardhan of Greater Noida Authority conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, during which several issues were raised. One of the complaints was regarding irregular garbage collection in Sector 2 and Sector 3 of Greater Noida. In response, Anand Vardhan instructed the Public Health Department to ensure that garbage is collected regularly from all residential sectors and warned of taking action on receiving any further complaints.

ACEO Amandeep Duli instructed the development of 6% plots of farmers from Junpat, Chhapraula, Hamidpur, Roza Yakubpur, and Habibpur at the earliest. Instruction was also given to launch a campaign against the encroachments happening in and around Srisa. The ACEO asked all work circles and the Bhulekh department to take necessary action against encroachments with the help of the police administration.

The residents of Sector Omega 1 demanded the construction of a library and community centre and also complained about the lack of public transport facilities and the non-maintenance of the green belt. The ACEO assured the residents that these issues would be addressed and resolved soon.
