Homes 121 Society: Builder Fails to Clear Dues, AOA Complains to Noida Authority

he Noida Authority has declared the builder of Homes 121 Society a defaulter, as the Authority has failed to resolve the issues faced by the Association of Apartment Owners (AoA) and the builder despite several complaints.

The AoA was established six years ago in the Homes 121 Society located in Noida Sector-121, but the complete handover of the society was not given to the AoA by the builder. Within six years, five AOAs were formed, but the builder only provided maintenance to the AoA. The AoA alleges that the builder has not cleared the dues of Rs 9 crore to the Infrastructure and Facilities Management Services (IFMS), leading to a lack of funds for various development works in the society. Additionally, the builder has not provided the maintenance amount of Rs 1.25 crore to the AOA. Despite several complaints made to the Authority officials, the matter remains unresolved.

Dinesh Singh, the AOA president of the Homes 121 society, stated that problems such as leakage in the basement and falling plaster persist daily. Furthermore, cracks have appeared in the balcony of the flats and the basement pillars. The society houses about six thousand people, and approximately 200 registry cases are pending because the builder owes dues to the Authority. In light of the unresolved issues, the AoA has approached the High Court for justice and will continue to fight against the builder's irresponsible attitude.
