Senior vice president of DDRWA (District Development Residents Welfare Association) Sanjeev Kumar has accused MP Maneka Gandhi of threatening him. On Wednesday, he wrote a post on tweet and accused mentioning that Maneka Gandhi had threatened him over a phone call from a landline number. In another tweet, he mentioned the number of the landline from which the call was received and requested police to file an FIR on the matter.
Sanjeev Kumar, who is also general secretary of RWA Sector 51 C, D, E, and F, informed us that due to raising the dog issues at Meghdootam Park located in Sector 50, MP Maneka Gandhi threatened him over the phone call. He said that Maneka Gandhi told him not to walk in the Meghdootam Park of Sector 50 otherwise, she would file a case against him.

Kumar said that dog lovers formed a group in Meghdootam Park, Sector-50 and every morning they open the leashes of their big pet dogs in the park, and the dogs roam there. Due to this, children, elders, and all other people roaming in the park get scared and have problems, so they complain to DDRWA and ask them for help. On that account, Sanjeev Kumar, raised an objection against these pet owners and also requested the Noida authority to look into the matter. He allege that because he highlighted the dogs' issue, MP Maneka Gandhi threatened him. Kumar filed a complaint (over WhatsApp) at the Sector 49 police station.
ADCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that the complaint of the RWA General Secretary was received. There is no recording of the call. They had a controversy in the past about walking dogs in the park. An agreement was made by making both parties sit. The matter of threats is under consideration.
