Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the result of the 10th and 12th standards board examinations. This year’s result came out to be more impressive than the previous year. Shubh Chhapra from Mahoba scored 489 out of 500 and became state’s topper in intermediate while Priyanshi Soni from Sitapur secured top position in the state by scoring 590 marks in 10th standard.
Iqra, from BR Public Inter College became topper in the district with 96.17 percent marks in 10th level exam and Priya from Vedic Girls Inter College, secured the topmost position by securing 92.40% marks in the 12th standard. In Gautam Budh Nagar 93.03 % students passed out the 10th examination 82.41 % succeeded in the intermediate this year. The district has been ranked 7th after the declaration of results by the UP Board.
The number of students registered for UP Board Exams increased by more than 6 lakh. Total 58 lakh students had registered for the UP Board examinations out of which 31.2 lakh were for Class 10 and 27.5 lakh students were for Class 12. Overall percentage of success in class 10 was noted as 89.78%. Out of which 86.64% boys and 93.34% girls were successful. In 12th standard the total percentage of successful candidates declared as 75.52% out of which 83% were girls and boys were 69.34 %.
