Noida Sector 99 Residents Rejoice: Relief from Power Cuts on the Way!

The frequent power cuts in Sector 99 of Noida will soon be resolved with the installation of three new transformers. The RWA and residents of the sector have complained about the issue several times, and now the PVVNL has allocated a budget of Rs 1.2 crore for the installation of three transformers, each with a capacity of 400 kVA.

The installation work for the transformers is expected to begin next week and will take at least a month to complete. The president of RWA Sector 99, Rishipal Singh Awana, expressed his satisfaction and said that their demands, which they have been raising for a decade, will finally be met. He also highlighted that there is only one-panel box for electrical connections in the sector, which has 190 plots of varying sizes from 112 sq m to 450 sq m.

According to Mr Awana, the sector has been facing power cuts since 2011, and despite the assignment of four transformers to the sector, only one was installed, causing significant power outages in the area. However, with the intervention of the CEO of the Noida Authority, the sector will now get the three new transformers it needs to overcome its power outage problem.
