The Noida Authority on Friday conducted an online mediation meeting between Apartment Owners Association (AOA) and builder of Mahagun Moderne, a residential highrise society in Sector 78, Noida.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issues related to the pending registry of flats, the structural problems and many more.
During the meeting, builder Amit Jain; president of AOA Sandeep Singh Chauhan; Noida MLA Pankaj Singh; Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of Noida Authority Neha Sharma; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida Authority Ritu Maheshwari; and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Avinash Tripathi were present.
In the meeting, AOA President suggested that unsold inventories of the builder should not be sold to the new buyers until they give registry to the existing residents and finish the leftover construction work. The ACEO accepted the suggestion and assured that it will be done.
Both AOA President and Secretary suggested that proper audit records should be maintained before the handover of the society. The OSD agreed by saying that the process will be started soon.
Talking to CitySpidey, AOA President Chauhan said, “It seems that the issues are getting resolved during the mediation meeting. During the meeting, the builder said that he will clear the dues. The ACEO asked him to do it in 24 hours or they will confiscate the unsold flats.”
“We asked the authority to make Mahagun Apartments a model for the rest of the societies in Noida. We also discussed about the proper audit before handover of the projects. On Monday, the planning team will visit the society along with the OSD for audit records,” he added.
