This is how you can rent an oxygen cylinder in Greater Noida

People have been facing a lot of difficulties in procuring facilities like oxygen, hospital beds and so on. In the wake of the same, several local authorities have come forward to help people at the ground level.

In Gautam Budh Nagar, several local bodies including the Noida Authority, Apartments Owners Associations and Resident Welfare Associations joined hands in ensuring the supply of oxygen to those who need it. An oxygen bank was also inaugurated for the same.

Adding to the same, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has established four centres across Greater Noida East and Greater Noida West for filling, refilling oxygen cylinders or
procuring oxygen cylinders on rent. This is an initiative by GNIDA for home isolated Covid patients.

The four centres established are at Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park, Primary School Village Sirsa, Balak Inter College and Primary School, Village Saini. You can rent an oxygen cylinder from these centres. You need to carry documents like aadhar card, doctor’s prescription, covid report and oxygen saturation level report.

You need to deposit a refundable security amount of Rs 7,500 for type- D cylinder and Rs 2,500 for type- B cylinder. To get your cylinders refilled, the charges are – Rs 500 for type- D and Rs 200 for type- B. You have to return the cylinder after one week and get your security amount back. A helpline number has also been made available for the same.
