Delhi reports 134 new coronavirus cases; positivity rate at 0.22%

 


The Capital on Wednesday reported 134 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,37,315. The number of new cases reported came out of 59,886 tests conducted on the previous day.

At least 39,852 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 20,034 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was at 0.22 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.44 per cent.

No death was reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll remains at 10,894. One death was reported on Tuesday, 2 on Monday, 2 on Sunday 3, and 3 on Friday.

A total of 75 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,25,343 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.12 per cent. Currently, there are 1,078 active cases in the city.

Out of the total 5,765 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,297 are vacant. 

A total of 440 patients are in home isolation.
