The Capital on Friday recorded 154 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,35,793. The number of new cases reported came out of 59,964 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 37,770 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 22,194 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.26 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.77 per cent.
Two patients succumbed to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,873. Seven deaths were recorded on Thursday, 6 on Wednesday, 2 on Tuesday, 3 on Monday and 4 on Sunday.
A total of 140 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,23,714 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.10 per cent. Delhi has now 1,206 active cases.
Out of the total 6,265 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,684 are vacant. A total of 452 patients are in home isolation.
