'Metro stations of proposed GreNo airport line to be named after villages'

Stations of the Greater Noida metro line connecting Noida International Greenfield Airport will be named after the villages in the area.

A proposal in this regard was tabled by Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh and Noida MLA Pankaj Singh before the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the review meeting held with the Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway Authority on Friday.


Both the MLAs believe that this move will keep these villages on the map. CM while appreciating the proposals suggested, assured them of its implementation.

During the meeting with the chief minister, it was announced that the construction of the airport terminal metro from Pari Chowk will start by 2020. A target of 5 years has been set to complete this rail project with an estimated cost of Rs 5708 crore to construct 35 kilometre track.

A total of 25 stations between Greater Noida's Pari Chowk and the airport has been proposed. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has been given the responsibility to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the same. apartment management system

Two types of metro services will be provided on this line. Under the first one, the metro will halt at all the stations, while the second service plans to provide stoppage at selected stations.

Knowledge Park 2, Chi 1, Chi 2, Chi 3, Chi 4, Gautam Buddh University, Night Safari, Murshadpur, Sector 26A, Noida International University, Galgotia University, Sector 17A, Sports city, Sector 22A, 22B, Sector 18(1), 18(2), 22C, Sector 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, Nangla Hukum Singh and Airport Terminal are the proposed metro stations for this line.
