Giving him another chance to work for further development of the residential pockets in Sector 30, residents on Sunday voted Pramod Verma to power in Noida. He was elected as president of the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of the sector for the third consecutive term.

Residents of the sector, which is one of the poshest residential pockets in the city, went ahead to change the bye-laws allowing motivated people to work for another tenure of one year.

Revealing details of the election, a resident told that the existing clauses in the bye-laws were amended to allow good people to work again.

They said that after the amendment in the general body meeting, a provision was made for people, who wish to work for the sector, to participate in the process of electioneering despite holding offices for two terms in the past.

Along with Verma, three more residents were elected. Sanjeev Gupta, Sudhir, and Ramesh Malhotra were respectively elected for the posts of secretary, vice president, and joint secretary.

As the residents gave him mandate to hold the chair of RWA office, Verma told that it is a happy moment for him that all residents showed their trust in his works carried out in the past. He said that he would try to live up to the expectation of them. He said, “I will work with more enthusiasm taking care of all basic facility in the sector.”
