World Laughter Day was celebrated a day in advance on Saturday morning at Jalvayu Vihar Community Centre in Noida. Over 300 people from various age groups – students, adults and senior citizens — participated in the celebrations.
The fun event started early morning at 6.40 am with people from nearby societies joining in to celebrate the joy of laughter. “Having a good laugh is like the best therapy for your soul. It just brightens a dull, boring day. It really is the best tonic,” said a participant having a good, silly laugh.
Members from many other laughter clubs in Noida also participated in the event. Ashok Srivastava, founder and president of Navratan Foundations, was the chief guest on the occasion.
