On the 53rd anniversary of the Bhartiya Yog Sansthan, hundreds of enthusiasts participated in a huge yoga session which was organised in Dwarka on Thursday. Dressed in white attires, the participants enthusiastically performed yoga from 5.30 am to 7.30 am at DDA Park in Sector 9.
The participants performed different asanas during the session. They also held talks on the benefits of yoga in daily life. The experts demonstrated specific asanas for cure of different ailments which happens at different stages of life.
Head of Bhartiya Yog Sansthan at Sector 18, Leela Bora said, “Yoga is very useful for our health. We must incorporate it in our daily life routine. Practicing yoga in right way can keep anyone away from many diseases and ageing problems.”
Head Bhartiya Yog Sansthan at West Delhi, DP Singh said, “We organise programmes to celebrate our foundation in Dwarka. A total of 37 branches are operating in the area and they promote yoga free of cost. There is another event planned on April 27 at Sector 11 Park.”
Bhartiya Yog Sansthan was founded on April 10, 1967. Hence, people, who are associated with the group, celebrate it in the month of April.
