There was panic and a chaos-like situation prevailed among residents of Rihayashi Apartments (Sector 12) Saturday evening following a message saying that a body of a child was found inside a clinic on the society premises. But when the matter came to light, people got to know that it was not a child's body but a fetus which was brought to the clinic for a lab test.
One of the security guards, Baldev Singh, gave a call to the police and informed about the incident to the officials stationed at the Dwarka North Police Station, upon which, sub-inspector Sunil Kumar took further action.
When City Spidey inquired about the matter, it was revealed that a female girl fetus, weighing 1810 grams was extracted from a 38-year-old pregnant lady, a resident of Arunachal Pradesh, at Apollo cradle Hospital, Nehru Place on March 20.
