The MLA, Pankaj Singh, on Sunday inaugurated an open gym in Sector 74 park in the presence in the Noida Authority officials. On the occasion, Singh appealed to the citizens to be committed towards creating clean environment.
The park is situated between two residential societies in Sector 74 - Ajnara Grand Heritage and Supertech Capetown.
“The gyms are equipped with air walkers, sit-up benches, air swings, stair steppers, leg presses, pull-up chairs, exercise bars, chest presses, bench presses, sit-up stations, cross-walkers, twisters, rowing machines, etc.” said a senior Noida Authority official.
“All the machines are weather-proof and are clamped onto concrete slabs across rubberized tiles, making it impossible to move them manually,” he added.
Dhananjay Kumar, a resident of Grand Ajnara Heritage said that youngsters and senior citizens of nearby societies and many others will get to work out in the new gym. This gym will help more people to come out and work out in the park.
Before the opening of open gym in the park, the condition of the park was very poor. The maintenance staffs of Supertech Capetown, another society bordering the park, had started to discharge the society’s sewage water there
Than residents of Ajnara Grand Heritage, a residential society in Sector 74, are dealing with the foul smell coming from a park adjacent to it. They fought with the Noida Authority to develop this land into a park.
