Hundreds of home buyers of Casa Greens 1, a high rise project in Noida Extension, on Sunday carried out bike and car rally to protest against the delay in possession of flats by seven years.
The home buyers informed that they had booked the flats in 2010.
“We are paying EMI to bank and rent to house owner. We have invested the hard earned money into the project. How do we sustain? After paying all this, only 40 per cent of salary amount is left. Out of that, we have to pay for children’s study, food and other expenses,” Alok Kumar, a buyer said.
The buyers also complained about apathetical approach of Yogi and Modi governments. “They make a lot of promises at the time of election and forget it after that. As the 2019 elections are close, they will again knock our doors. We will not go by them this time,” buyers said.
“The quality of the building structure is not up to the mark. We will meet the CEO of the Greater Noida Authority and demand structure audit by next week,” said another buyer, Tarang.
The builder is also due to take the power supply from the NPCL. When City Spidey tried to contact the officials of the builder, they were not available for comment.
