The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a widespread rainfall this week in Gurgaon. The immediate break is expected on Wednesday.

The city of Gurgaon witnessed scattered rainfall over the weekend. It caused water logging at many areas including Genpact Chowk on Golf Course Road and South City 2.
As per an IMD official, the city is expected to receive heavy rain in next few days. With that happening, there is also a high chance of reduced precipitations.
The official said that the rainfall will continue till the next weekend and will only subside by July 28. After that, the skies will have less overcast conditions.
With the advent of monsoon, the notorious air quality in the city has also improved significantly.
The official data for the concentration of suspended particulate matter (SPM) was unavailable on Sunday as the website of Central Pollution Control Board was down.
However, private monitors recorded PM2.5 levels at well below the daily safe limit of 60ug/m3 on Sunday.
PM2.5 levels have been hovering around between 30 to 45mg/ug3 over the past week.
