Due to non payment of electricity bills by Unitech, the power supply to Fresco Condominium in Sector 50, Gurgaon, has been disconnected by DHVBN.
The society has been on generator support since Thursday afternoon when the supply was taken off the grid.
"It is not fair that we are suffering due to the builder's fault!" says an exasperated resident, Yogesh Matta. "How long can we manage on power back up! It is expensive. Who will bear this cost!"
"There is an outstanding of Rs 69 lakh, which Unitech owes to DHVBN. That needs to be cleared. We will approach authorities and sort out this matter at the earliest," says Nilesh Tandon, president of the Fresco Condominium RWA. Gurgaon News
This is not the only issue bogging down the residents of this upscale gated community. With non-maintenance of lifts, there have also been several incidents of residents getting trapped inside. Not surprisingly, anger against Unitech that built this complex has been mounting and they are in no mood to bear and grin over these daily disruptions anymore. Apartment management software
The RWA of the condominium is now set to take some decisive action. Watch out for updates.
