For a change, Supertech responded to resident protests from Eco Village II

Residents of Eco Village II, developed by Supertech in Greater Noida West (Noida Extension), on Sunday congregated outside the society and raised slogans to protest the lack of basic facilities in the society.

The residents held the builder guilty of failure to provide facilities such as intercom in passenger lifts, for one. Residents also complained of unhygienic conditions in the basement parking lot. Seepage is a perpetual issue and dirty water gets accumulated in the basement. There is also stench emanating from the water accumulated in the basement, residents complain. noida news

Unlike on previous occasions, as soon as word reached the builder about the protests, his officials came to the spot to make a list of the grievances and try to solve them. The representatives convened a meeting with residents and gave them assurance that all issues would be resolved at the earliest.

Shailendra Baranwal, a resident of the society, said that Vikas Kansal, director, and Rajeev Singh, general manager of the company, visited the society to inspect the seepage and leakage in the basement. It prompted them to direct the maintenance staff deployed at the society to immediately initiate action to stop the leakages. noida local news

Residents also demanded the installation of CCTV cameras in passenger lifts and parking lots. He said the developer had agreed to the proposal of CCTV cameras in lifts and the basement. But when residents demanded a CCTV camera on each floor, the builder’s representatives kept silent. The residents also demanded an individual letter box outside each flat to be provided by the developer.
The officials of the developer noted all the demands and assured them that they would be put up before senior officials for consideration and approval.
