People have been living in RG Residency for two years, but without registry!

Residents of RG Residency, a society in Sector 120, Noida, have been facing problems with flat registry.

They said they had been living in the society for more than two years but the developer was yet to get their flats registered. Noida Authority officials, during the tripartite meetings held last month, had ordered the developer to start the registration of flats, but the builder has not yet initiated the process.
Mayank Shukla, a resident of RG Residency, told City Spidey that the builder had said registry would only start once they paid the new maintenance charge of Rs 3 per sq ft. Residents were not willing to pay the maintenance charge, as amenities such as swimming pool, tennis court and clubhouse were not yet operational. They were paying a maintenance charge of Rs 1.5 per sq ft until now. Noida Society news
"The builder was supposed to instal three lifts in each tower but there are only two in each now," said Shukla. "On top of that, the lifts malfunction every now or then. They are not maintained well. The builder has got some of the flats registered — those of family and friends. But more than 600 flats are awaiting registry."
There are 10 towers and more than 1,500 flats in the society. About 700 families are living in the society.
