Enough is enough! They pooled in Rs 1.5 lakh and repaired the road in 3 days.

Residents of Fresco, a condominium in Sector 50, Gurgaon, recently contributed enough money to repair a pothole-ridden internal road.

They had been moving from pillar to post to get the damaged 135-m road repaired but the authorities paid no heed to their complaints. About a month back, a 75-year-old resident lost his balance when he stepped on a pothole and fell down, injuring himself. He has been bedridden ever since. There have been several instances of car undercarriages being damaged while commuting on the road. Gurgaon News
Fresco's internal roads have been damaged ever since its inception. Residence even approached the officials of Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) but they said the work would only be done after they take over the area.
Fed up, residents decided to take on the onus. They pooled in Rs 1.5 lakh and got the road repaired in three days. The road connects to the main road in South City II.
