Residents had complained to the deputy magistrate and top officials of Noida Authority that these choked drains were the reason vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria were spreading.
Srivastava told City Spidey that inspection of work would be carried out in the city every 20 days. “Cleaning of the remaining drains will also start soon. Our aim is to complete the work before the monsoons arrive.” rwa management software
The principal secretary of Infrastructure & Industrial Development Department of the Uttar Pradesh government and chairman of Noida Authority Alok Sinha had also directed Authority officials to clean the drains in a meeting held a month ago.
