Which are the 7 RWAs that got Rs 5 lakh as reward from MCG?

Seven RWAs in Gurgaon became Rs 5 lakh richer on Saturday. How? By clearing their property tax up to 80 per cent.
Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) had announced on May 25 that it would reward Rs 5 lakh to RWAs whose residents paid the percentage of property tax by May 31.

The awarded RWAs are sectors 4, 7 and 14, Shivaji Nagar, Shivpuri, Jal Vayu Vihar and Maruti Vihar - which will use the amount for maintenance and development work.
MCG officials said the move was intended to encourage payment of property tax on time and to incorporate RWAs into the corporation’s schemes.
“This move was also aimed at increasing community participation and the MCG’s interaction with the public,” said SS Rohilla, official spokesperson for MCG. “The RWAs can use the reward money to maintain parks, expand green belts and carry out other maintenance-related work.”
MCG officials added that other RWAs, too, could enjoy the benefits of the cash sum if they cleared 80 per cent property tax by May 31.
And the RWAs are responding with gusto.
The RWA of Qutub Enclave, DLF Phase 1, conducted a property tax camp today to help residents clear their dues.
“We have been conducting these camps to help senior citizens clear their dues comfortably, without having to run around. And it is very encouraging to see that such initiatives stand the chance of recognition by MCG. The cash prize can go a long way in providing better amenities to residents,” said Dinesh Aggarwal, president of the Sector 14 RWA.
And for those who are yet to pay their property tax, here’s a little more incentive - it is under a 15 per cent refund scheme until June 15.
