The Greater Noida Authority has recently floated tenders amounting to Rs 2.25 crore for the development of schools and community centres in Greno's villages and sectors. These tenders include the installation of street lights, the development of electrical systems, pump houses, and crematoriums.
As part of the project, the Greno Authority will execute the internal electrification work of primary schools and community centres in Smart Villages Chhapraula, Jalpura, Itehara, and Kailashpur. Additionally, the authority will install a water fountain at Jaypee Gol Chakkar and maintain trees and plants at Block Parks A, C, and D in Sector 3.
For Sector 1, the authority will select an agency for a three-year contract to maintain trees and plants planted in the roadside green belt areas. The authority will also undertake plantation work in the green belt and road site grassing in Sector Ita-1, Sector Techzone-4, and Sector 12. Furthermore, LED streetlights will be installed on main and service roads in multiple sectors of the city, and a 10-meter-wide green belt, along with a park and a 45-meter road, will be developed in the residential areas of Sectors 16B and 16-C.
The development works are set to commence next month, and the Greno Authority has expressed its commitment to ensuring the successful execution of the project.
