It has been three months since the cleaning staff and security guards were removed from JKG Palm Court, located in Greater Noida West. The lack of staff has forced the residents to take matters into their own hands and clean the common areas, lifts, and corridors, which were in a deplorable state. In addition, incidents of people getting stuck in lifts have been reported frequently, and the absence of guards has made it challenging to rescue them.
Despite protests by the residents for the past three months, the builder has not addressed the issues, leaving people to live in an unclean and unsafe environment. Recently, the NPCL approved a multi-point meter connection, and the builder is now asking residents to pay for their connection charges to NPCL. However, the residents have already paid Rs 25,000 plus GST to the builder for metered connection during possession.
Moreover, the builder has not completed the clubhouse and swimming pool work in the society and has refused to provide a power backup facility. Despite repeated requests for help from the police, authority, and district administration regarding security, cleanliness, and electricity issues, the residents have yet to receive a solution. The problems faced by the residents of JKG Palm Court continue to persist.
