Greater Noida: Parents in Greater Noida West have held a second meeting at Ek Murti Chowk, to discuss private schools' failure to refund 15% of the school fees taken during the academic session 2020-21, as ordered by the High Court.
Manish Kumar, Deepak Gupta, and Himanshu Agarwal were also at the meeting. Despite the court order, most private schools have not given any relief to parents during the pandemic.
Sukhpal Singh Toor, an education activist and founder of NCR Parents Association, said that a memorandum containing 210 complaints from about two dozen schools was given to the District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar, but there has been no response from either the government or private schools.
To raise their voices, parents plan to meet the District Magistrate again soon with a reminder letter and to submit complaints through the RTI and Jansunwai portal. More complaints are being collected through Google Forms, which will be shared with the District Magistrate.
