As of now ( UPSRTC) UP State Road Transport Corporation is operating buses on 4 routes from here. To give better facilities to the commuters, the authority is setting up to appoint a private firm for proper management of the newly constructed Bus Terminal in Sector 82.
Regarding this, the Authority has issued an EOI (Expression of Interest), in which applications have been sought from the interested agency. It was seen that the authority will get approximately Rs 85 lakh every month as rent.
This city bus terminal was started in November. It was constructed for Rs 158 crore. This bus terminal is spread over 7.5 acres near Bhangel elevated road. In this terminal 40 buses can be parked at a time.
Facilities like a food court, ATM kiosk, cyber cafe and passenger accommodation are to be provided here.

The officer of the Noida authority says the agency will also manage other facilities including a parking lot, food court, restaurant, canteen and passenger accommodation built in its premises up to the second floor, apart from the booking centre of the depot.
They said that the contract for 25 bus parking and 100 car parking will be given to the selected agency. He will also operate a booking centre in the main building for transport-related activities. A charging infrastructure for electric vehicles will be set up. The operator can enter monthly parking passes for cars/buses, while the office space will be used for transport booking and transport-related functions.
SANJEEV KUMAR, senior vice president of DDRWA, has boycotted the move of the authority. He criticised the Noida authority on this. He said the authority fails to provide the needs of the commuters and now they are giving it to a private firm. Now the private firm will charge more, which will affect the commuters. He added that this project will also fail just like the Ganga shopping complex. So we boycott this.
