Noida News: The Supreme Court has given its approval for the construction of an additional Floor Area Ratio (FAR) in one of the residential projects of the Amrapali Group. The receiver appointed by the Supreme Court has been trying to raise funds by selling additional FAR in a total of seven Amrapali Group projects. The Noida and Greater Noida authorities had raised objections to this move, but the court rejected their objections citing an earlier order.
The Supreme Court bench, comprising Justices Ajay Rastogi and Bela Trivedi, directed the liquidator not to compromise on the basic amenities and plans of all projects while booking the apartments, and to use the additional FAR in the green area. The court has also asked the receiver to submit a revised plan to the Noida and Greater Noida Authority for approval within two weeks, after which the authority will take necessary action and inform the Supreme Court.
