Greno Authority chairs meeting between home buyers and builders

On March 18th, the Greater Noida Authority directed Supertech builder to register 260 flats in Eco Village 1, deposit the fixed lease rent, and register the names of the flat buyers. The authority also announced that its team will visit the site to investigate the complaint of flat buyers regarding the non-functioning of STPs (Sewage Treatment Plants) regularly.

Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of Greater Noida Authority, has directed the builder department to prioritize the resolution of the issues faced by flat buyers. To address the deadlock, a meeting was held between the builder and flat buyers of Super Tech's Eco Village 1, under the leadership of Soumya Srivastava, OSD of Greater Noida Authority. Deepak Yadav, Dadri MLA representative (Greno West), also participated in the meeting.

Flat buyers pointed out that the registry of 260 flats in Eco Village 1 has not been completed in the name of buyers. Srivastava instructed the builder representative, Ashok Bhalla, to deposit the fixed lease rent of Rs. 15 crores in the authority's account for the registry of these flats. Flat buyers also demanded a multipoint connection from the builder.

Srivastava asked the builder to respond to the issue soon. Flat buyers complained that the STP in society is not being operated regularly. Srivastava has directed the authority to send a team to the site to conduct an investigation soon. The meeting was attended by Aradhana, head of the builder department of the authority, flat buyer Sanjay Sharma, Anand Kumar, Mahendra Singh, Himanshu Kumar, Nagendra, Arun Gupta, and Kamal, among others.

A resident of Supertech Ecovillage-1, Ashish Vijpuria, said, "The builder has bad intentions, and they will not deposit a single penny without pressure from the Greater Noida Authority. Seven thousand homebuyers are waiting for registration in only Ecovillage 1, and more than 1 lakh buyers are waiting for registration in the entire GautamBudh Nagar. The government needs to intervene."

The Greater Noida Authority's efforts to resolve the issues of flat buyers are a positive step towards addressing their concerns. It is hoped that the authorities will continue to take action to ensure that the homebuyers' grievances are resolved soon.
