Hacks to get your kids ready

Every parent runs into trouble while trying to dress their children. Toddlers and clothes seem to be old enemies, so whenever they meet, it’s a war. From diapers, shirts, or simple pull-overs, toddlers never miss a chance to throw tantrums. Parents try all their ways of bribing, threatening, yelling, and sometimes they just give up. We are here to turn this war zone into a play area:

Make it fun

Children and games are best friends, so why not just turn this task into a game? Distract them with their favorite toy, and once they move to the other world with their toys, instantly put on their clothes and react as if nothing happened.

Challenge them

When your kid gets into the rebel pants, then use reverse psychology. Take advantage and tell them that you can't do it yourself and they might need your help. Keep poking them till they get on her feet and wear clothes themselves.

Go shopping with them

Take them shopping and let them explore their clothes on their own. They will choose clothes with their favourite cartoon characters and other funky looks and this practice will make them look forward to clothing themselves.

Put out choices

Make it interesting for them and ask them to choose their clothes. Lay a few limited options in front of them and ask them to choose their outfit for the day. This will bring their interest in clothing.

Be a joker

Get goofy with your child, wear undies on your head or socks on your hands and talk in a funny tone, this will make your child stare at you with wide eyes and it will become easy for you to dress them. They’ll be dressed without any hustle.

Distract to act

Start doing something and let them watch you doing that task be it looking out of the window, looking at dogs or watching any TV show or just simply get them involved in mobile phones, tablets, or turn on the tv in front of them and quickly win the battle by putting on clothes on them.

Be a singer

No matter if you’re a bathroom singer, your child loves your melodious tunes. Sing them songs from TV advertisements or cartoon shows and distract them. Get the clothes on them as soon as they become calm.

Set a reward

No matter what your age is, everyone loves gifts! So set a treat and let your little one know that there’s a special gift waiting for him/her. Maybe just get them their favourite candy or TV show, any favourite food item they like, tell them clearly that ‘no clothes means no treat'. Use this trick and see how dressing up daily became his usual favorite morning thing.

To connect with your child, listen to them, be funny with them and enjoy their beautiful phase of childhood.
