As the civil court has lifted temporary stay in the case, the Noida Authority has asked the Supertech builder to handover the society's maintenance to the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) by February 17.
In his order, Assistant General Manager, Group Housing has asked the Supertech builder to link the Paytm and Radius Synergy system to the account of AOA. Paytm and Radius Synergy system are used to take electricity and maintenance payment from the residents. The order stated that it should be done by February 17.
The authority has also sent a copy of the order to Paytm and Radius Synergy system. President of AOA, Arun Sharma informed that they have already delinked from the builder's account and made a stop-gap arrangement of post-paid payment of electricity bills for the residents. “However, they are yet to link to the AOA account,” he said.
“After the lifting of the temporary stay by the court, there is no hindrance in maintaining the society as per residents' demands. Now, the authority has also ordered the builder to handover the society. This has come as a big relief for us. We will now be able to ensure proper maintenance of the society,” Sharma said.
As per Sharma, the society has been facing issues of insufficient water supply, open parking, handover of society, outsourcing of community centre by the developer to vendors.
Supertech builder was ordered to inform the Additional CEO of Noida Authority Neha Sharma after completion of the handover process by February 17 in personal capacity.
Supertech Capetown is among the biggest highrise residential societies of Noida. It has 37 towers and around 25,000 people reside in 4,419 flats in the society.
