Residents of Sector 51 can heave a sigh of relief as the Noida Authority has taken action on their request and addressed the pathetic state of parks at blocks C and D in the residential pockets.
The authority tweeted about their action and also thanked CitySpidey for raising the residents' concerns.
“Thank you for bringing this to our notice. Your concern has been addressed,” Noida Authority wrote on Twitter.
In December last year, the residents had written a letter to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida Authority, complaining about the bad state of the park. CitySpidey had reported the communication.
Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary of Residents Welfare Association, Sector 51 had taken the issue of ill-maintained parks in blocks C and D into notice. He said that the parks were in a really bad state.
Kumar had informed about dry grass, lack of water, dirt in the parks, overflowing dustbins, and broken benches as well. The issues were taken in consideration by the authority and have now been resolved.
