On the last day for submission of applications, the Delhi Development Authority received 30,979 applications for the Housing Scheme 2021 on Tuesday.
Out of the total applications, the DDA received payment for 19,972 applicants, a senior official informed IANS. The official further said that there are no plans for extension of last date for submissions of applications as of now.
1,354 flats will be sold in different categories like HIG, MIG, LIG and EWS. The last date to submit the applications was February 16.
There are 254 HIG flats for sale in Dwarka, Rohini, Paschim Vihar Jasola and Vasant Kunj. 757 MIG flats will be sold in Dwarka, Rohini, Vasant Kunj, Jahangirpuri and Madipur.
On the other hand, 291 flats are available for sale in the EWS category and 52 for LIG category in Dwarka and Rohini.
The buyers will have to shell out between Rs 1.97 crore and Rs 2.1 crore for a three-bedroom HIG flat in Jasola whereas HIG flats will be available for Rs 1.72 crore in Vasant Kunj.
As per an official, applications, payments and possession letters will be processed online on the DDA’s AWAAS software. The buyers will only be required to visit the DDA office for the process of execution of conveyance deed.
The application money for different categories like EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG will be Rs 25,000, Rs 1,00,000, Rs 2,00,000 and Rs 2,00,000 respectively.
