Delhi reports 125 new coronavirus cases; positivity rate 0.23%

 


Delhi on Monday reported 125 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,36,160. The number of new cases reported came out of 55,390 tests conducted on the previous day.

At least 42,524 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 12,866 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.23 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.68 per cent.

Three patients succumbed to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,882. Two deaths were recorded on Sunday, 4 on Saturday, 2 on Friday, 7 on Thursday and 6 on Wednesday.

A total of 138 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,24,182 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.11 per cent. Currently, there are 1,096 active cases in the city.

Out of the total 6,085 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,575 are vacant. 
A total of 442 patients are in home isolation.
