119 fresh coronavirus cases in Delhi; positivity rate at 0.22%

 


Delhi on Sunday recorded 119 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,36,035. The number of new cases reported came out of 54,247 tests conducted on the previous day.

At least 34,102 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 20,145 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.22 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.71 per cent.

Two patients succumbed to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,879. Four deaths were recorded on Saturday, 2 on Friday, 7 on Thursday, 6 on Wednesday and 2 on Tuesday.

A total of 179 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,24,044 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.11 per cent. Currently, there are 1,112 active cases in the city.

Out of the total 6,135 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,624 are vacant. A total of 465 patients are in home isolation.
