114 new coronavirus cases in Delhi; positivity rate plummets to 0.19 pc

 


Delhi on Tuesday reported 114 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,35,331. The number of new cases reported came out of 58,598 tests conducted on the previous day.

Of which, 31,159 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 27,439 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.19 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.86 per cent.

2 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,858. 3 deaths were recorded on Monday, 4 on Sunday, 8 on Saturday, 6 on Friday and 6 on Thursday.

160 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,23,256 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.09 per cent. coronavirus cases in Delhi

The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Tuesday. Active cases declined by 48 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 1,217 active cases.

Out of the total 6,305 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,684 are vacant. A total of 466 patients are in home isolation.
