100 new Covid-19 cases in Delhi; no deaths

 


New Delhi: The city on Tuesday reported 100 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,36,260. The number of new cases reported came out of 56,410 tests conducted on the previous day.

At least 31,300 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 25,110 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.18 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.65 per cent.

No deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll remains at 10,882. Three deaths were recorded on Monday, 2 on Sunday, 4 on Saturday, 2 on Friday and 7 on Thursday.

A total of 144 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,24,326 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.12 per cent. Currently, there are 1,052 active cases in the city.

Out of the total 6,050 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,554 are vacant. A total of 441 patients are in home isolation.
