Delhi on Friday reported 266 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,33,542. The number of new cases reported came out of 71,850 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 43,105 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 28,745 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.37 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.20 per cent.
7 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,789. 8 deaths were recorded on Thursday, 10 on Wednesday, 10 on Tuesday, 8 on Monday and 8 on Sunday.
319 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,20,693 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.97 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Friday. Active cases declined by 60 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 2,060 active cases.
Out of the total 9,068 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 8,125 are vacant. A total of 825 patients are in home isolation.
