Delhi on Tuesday reported 231 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,32,821. The number of new cases reported came out of 72,441 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 37,770 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 34,671 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.32 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.33 per cent.
10 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,764. 8 deaths were recorded on Monday, 8 on Sunday, 6 on Saturday, 10 on Friday and 4 on Thursday.
222 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,19,723 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.93 per cent. Delhi has now 2,334 active cases.
Out of the total 9,244 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 8,253 are vacant. A total of 1,027 patients are in home isolation.
