Delhi on Wednesday reported 357 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,31,249. The number of new cases reported came out of 70,745 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 37,812 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 32,933 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.50 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.58 per cent.
11 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,691. 16 deaths were recorded on Tuesday, 13 on Monday, 12 on Sunday, 12 on Saturday and 10 on Friday.
534 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,17,540 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.82 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Wednesday. Active cases declined by 188 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 2,991 active cases.
Out of the total 11,984 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 10,749 are vacant. A total of 1,345 patients are in home isolation.
