Delhi on Sunday reported 246 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,32,429. The number of new cases reported came out of 67,463 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 40,102 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 27,361 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.36 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.40 per cent.
8 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,746. 6 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 10 on Friday, 4 on Thursday, 11 on Wednesday and 16 on Tuesday.
385 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,19,139 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.89 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Sunday. Active cases declined by 147 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 2,544 active cases.
Out of the total 11,088 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 9,987 are vacant. A total of 1,154 patients are in home isolation.
